Youthmakers Hub & Ecogenia in collaboration with the Career Office of the University of Piraeus co-organised an interactive workshop with the subject: “State of the Union: Transforming challenges into EU Opportunities” in the context of Erasmus + nEU Citizenship programme, funded by the National Agency of Greece (Grant Agreement 2021-2-EL02-KA154-YOU-000038235).

The aim of this workshop was to motivate participants to discuss the challenges they face in the areas of studies, skills development, career opportunities and access to general opportunities and services, as well as learn new tools for searching and finding opportunities.

More specifically the event started with an energiser to the participants who they had to discuss in groups thor thoughts, feelings and hesitations they might have for applying to a european opportunity. After that, Marilena Maragkou, the co-founder of YMH presented the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Programme and gave tips and information on applications. Then different European opportunities on skills development  were presented such as the Erasmus + Youth Exchanges & Training Courses & the European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Programme. Moreover, Manos Andreadis, Project Manager of Asset Tech, presented the Erasmus + Programme for Young Entrepreneurs and finally Spyridoula Loukopoulou the European Youth Card. 

The participants had also the chance to express their questions, thoughts and to discuss all together about how these opportunities fit to their needs.
